Meeting Discipline Policy

Fortnightly Meeting Charges

Fortnightly meeting charges are mandatory, irrespective of a member's attendance. Failure to pay on time will result in a late fee of Rs. 200 as a penalty per fortnightly.

Early Departure Policy

Vyapaaris cannot leave the Fortnightly Meeting early; otherwise, it will be counted as an absence.

Badge and Lapel Pin Requirement

Vyapaaris must wear their Badge and Lapel Pin; failure to do so will result in not being allowed for introduction and presentation.

Mobile Phone Ringing Fine

Vyapaaris whose mobile phones ring during the meeting will incur a fine of Rs. 100, which will contribute to the Chapter Kitty Fund.

Discipline Policy

The Head Table may raise a show cause notice to Vyapaaris for any misbehavior with other members or engaging in unethical business practices.

Inactive Member Warning

The HT will send a show cause notice to Vyapaaris who are non-active and not participating in chapter activities.

No Objection Period

Vyapaaris are encouraged to raise objections within 48 hours of the notification.

Discussion and Resolution

In case of objections, the HT engages in a discussion to understand concerns. Valid objections lead to a reassessment by the HT.

Visit Requirement

New members cannot be inducted unless they have visited the chapter as an Athithi at least once.

Punctuality Policy

Punctuality is highly valued at Vyapaar Zone. Vyapaaris are expected to arrive on time for meetings, and any member arriving after 8:05 AM will not be allowed to introduce or present their business to ensure smooth meeting proceedings.

Payment Default Consequences

If a Vyapaari's dues remain unpaid in a given quarter, their name will be published in the Chapter WhatsApp Group as being in default of payment.

If payment is not received within the notice period, the Vyapaari's category will be changed to an Open Category. If an Athithi chooses the Open category, the previous member will be terminated from Vyapaar Zone membership without prior notice.
